CLUB HISTORY

During 1999 a group of guys discussed creating a new soccer team over a pint in Clancys bar in the East end of Burlington ( hence the name Eastenders ) .

The team crest was designed by Joe Milinkovic and George Bagou  (based on a pint glass)

For the first few seasons the team played in the second division under the guidance of James Godsave.

In 2004 the club approached Dave Redmayne to take on the role of assistant coach .

In 2005 James stepped down and Dave took over as manager/coach .

The team were promoted to the first division and won the challenge cup .

After six seasons in the first division the team won the play off final and got promoted to the Premier division .

The play off final win is seen as the main highlight in the clubs history beating Real Beauties 3-2 with goals from    Paul Redmayne ,  Darren Jack and Rob Broxholme .

During 2012 the Open age team reached the AMMCup final , the same year a few players realized the time had come to advance to the Over 30 league. To avoid cutting ties with the club and to plan for the future the O30 Eastenders team were formed with Dean Juliano agreeing to take the coaching role .

After three seasons in the Premier division the open age team were disbanded and the focus turned to the O30 team.

At the end of 2015 Dean stepped down as coach due to work commitments , Dave Redmayne continued as coach
